here are some projects that were done outside!
I was the president of my cultural organization during my final year at Temple, so I wanted to develop something I always hoped for.
An event filled with community, supporting small businesses and everyone involved and just a time to relax and enjoy the night.
With the support of my board members, I organized the plan to develop our first night market event. This event meant so much to me as it is something I have always wanted to experience, which is seeing the community that we can build just by supporting each other.
I developed a marketing plan to ensure that the businesses and students could benefit from the event. I also wanted it to be interactive and vibrancy so that it would help build up the momentum.
Be on the lookout for a full case study on the process! Here are some news articles!
During my time at Temple, I grew very close with my cultural organization aka VSA. Where I am from, I didn't really saw that much of Vietnamese culture or Asian culture in general. I wanted to be a part of a community and it just clicked when I met the people of VSA as well as ASA.
Throughout my years, I held many positions from Intern, Cultural Chair, Internal Vice President to lastly President. Despite not ever being PR chair officially, I helped out with the graphics and even created merchandise for the club!
This last spring, I picked up my camera and decided that I wanted to offer my service to take graduation pictures for people.
It was fun and it reminded me why I love photography so I'll hopefully do it again during the next graduation season.

The concept was directed towards college students and young adults who are missing their hometown a bit. The consumer can send in recipes that they miss and @mom's will highlight three submissions each month by curating a menu for them and of course, cooking the home-cooked meals.
I developed a website prototype that would follow the flow of a user looking through the site and submiting a response.
