This is Angel's Pizzeria, a dual-designed website focused on informing the user about domestic violence and helping victims get the resources that they need. The user has the ability to switch between the two websites, one being the informative side and safe side.
For this project, we could choose any sort of concept and make it into a website on Figma. The initial direction I was going towards was I wanted it to be informative and bringing awareness to a cause. After brainstorming for a while, I thought of how sometimes police calls get disguised as pizza deliveries in order to get help without alarming the suspect.

Similar, right? This is so that it doesn't draw unnecessary attention from a quick glance. On the left page, there is a hovering chat button that will ask you if you are in a safe space to switch over to the informative side. Rather than doing the same on the right, a toggle button is there for quick access and change.
Throughout the copy, I wanted to make sure that I was ensuring that the user feels comfortable and safe while using the site and affirming their experiences. I did research on not just what domestic violence but going into the statistics, studying how other sites format their pages, what are the necessary resources someone may need, and how do I make sure that I am not romanticizing the subject or being insensitive. All of these points were important when curating the sites and data as I want to make sure it was genuine for any person who may come upon it, whether it is the victim themselves or a loved one who may want to be more informed in order to help.
Depending on when you press the chat button and confirm the switch, your landing page will differ but the main page are these two pages where they are similar with the two bars. The second cream-colored bar is more information that you can access; prevention, general information, awareness, statistics, advocacy, and affirmations.
With this concept, the obstacles I ran into the most was how to format everything without romanticizing or being insensitive. That is why I chose to do more research on how to be helpful from an outside perspective and what components would be essential. But to go along with why I decided to implement this idea, I wanted to help break certain stigmas that prevent people from getting informed and the resources they may need. I believe that it is important to get yourself out there whenever learning something in the sense that this is how you grow as a person when you become more knowledgable on topics that school does not teach/censor.
